S A Beauty had the opportunity to train 7 Models from Angola up

to a professional level.  They were successfully trained in Photographic

 and Runway Modeling.  A portfolio has been compiled for them in Beauty,

 Glamour, Artistic, Commercial and Catalogue in the Studio and on

location. Each of these models does have a z-card and a Fashion

Magazine shoot at the Emerald resort and casino.

We are proud to announce that all of the Angola Models were successfully

rated as professional Models. We want to thank the Governor Mr. Jose

Anibal Rocha from Cabinda- Angola   for his initiative that made this

possible, I’m sure it’s like a dream come  true for them. For us at,

S A Beauty, it was also a great honor and experience to work with

such a great group of motivated models over such a long period, consistently

 in Training.

S A Beauty Modeling was established in 1994 by Director and Fashion

 Photographer, Robin van Rensburg.  Due to popular demand S A Beauty

 grown into one of the Finest Modeling Agencies.

Whereby well known clients like the SABC poapies Isidingo, Muvhango

 and Generations make use of our Models on a daily basis for the last 

nine years.  Our Models were seen in the Wedding Collection Magazine,

 GQ,  Fashionista, SA Fusion, Camera and Image, Italian Style and

our own Fashion Magazine “S A Beauty” in his 4th issue.

Two of our models were also seen as the new faces of two well Known

 Airlines and in Fashion shows for the Emerald Casino, New Town

Festival with over 50 000 spectators, Vodaworld, Bridal expo, Fashion

 Expo at the Coca Cola Dome and Commercials for Cell C.

We host fashion shows were up to 100 S.A Beauty Models in one show,

 At the Emerald Casino were Irene Bester from the SABC were our

 Master of ceremony, Catwalk Four Ways, Calton Centre, 3 International

 fashion shows at the La Moricia Hotel In Mauritius and Magor Shopping

Centres around the country.

Monthly our models do Golf events, Car Shows, Promotions , Product

 lonches and showcase girls.

Promotional models were used for Mercedes Benz SLK, Jenny Button,

 Auto Africa, Team Suzuki, Vodacom, Team Honda ,Kyalami Race track

and International Racing etc. Sisi Fashions AXE Commercial, Shell 95

and Ferrari, Coca Cola Concert.

Photo shoots National and International in  Billabong, Triumph, Lizard

and Von Zipper swimwear.   Top Fashion designers in Wedding

Garments, Versace, and Aftershock.

Robin van Rensburg was awarded in 2002 for his outstanding

achievements  and Contribution to Fashion Photography.

2008 Achievement award for 5000 studio shoots successfully done

with 175 000 photos.  His work has been seen in many National and

International Magazines as well as Photographic Art Exhibition. 

Robin is also the proud Author of the book, the Guide to

Photographic Modeling.

Robin had the opportunity to shoot International Famous models

 and well known Artists for portfolios and Album Cover picture.

Fashion Photographer Courses

Robin also successfully trained Fashion Photographers around

 the globe.  Well known Fashion Photographer in London Jacques v.d.

 Westhuizen, and Stefan Oostuizen in the USA. Since other institutions

 and Colleges don’t offer Fashion Photography, Robin specializes

 in the training of this delicate and fine Photography in the studio

and on location.

During my career of Photographic model it was shocking to see

 how misinformed the models are about modeling and the

 purpose of a model.  Her goal is to skillfully trained models

 in the Industry.  And I’m a firm believer to Master the art of

 your craft first and then go out and be creative.

Robin van Rensburg is the author of the book, the Guide to

 Photographic Modeling.  We worked site by site to compile text

 and pictures.  This is an amazing one of a kind Guide for all

Models in the Industry.

My name is Thando Khumalo and I'm an orfen, Lizette corespond after I

contacted them that modelling is my life time dream but I knew it is not

possible because of my situation and funds.  S A Beauty invited me to

join their agency at no cost.  My experience here at S A Beauty has

been awesome.  I was nervous at first but the friendly people here helped

 me to relax and enjoy the photo shoot.  Robin is excellent at what he

We really enjoyed working at the Extreme Car show at the Coco Cola

dome 27 April 2010. They were very pleased with both Bronwyn and i

and want us to be in the feutre shows that they will be having. We also

did a photo shoot for their website and cataloque as well as for Top

Car magazine, Max car magazine and a few other smaller publications.

We will defiantly get some of those photo;s to you when they are

My Dream

I haven’t heard of any girl who wouldn’t love to have beautiful pictures

of her.  I remember when I was little and I went with my parents on

December holidays to the coast.  I love to pose for my dad with his little

 camera, but I also remember that even it was just snapshots I want to

put effort in with a fancy costume or sunglasses or hat or just something

 different.Modelling never really crosses my mind because I was really on

 the short side, in grade 11 I was only 1,49 and luckily grown a bit more to

 1.58, but that’s where it stops. According to my knowledge if you not

 supermodel material and at least 1,78, don’t consider it girl, was my

 meaning.  I always thought it would be such a dream come true to

have professional photos and especially black and white was my favourite.

I met a really handsome guy in the gym that gave me a card to call him

 for a photo shoot. I felt so special but still surprised.   That guy ends up to

 be one of the best Fashion Photographers today over the globe that shot

many celebrities and super models and what a privilege it was for me to

be considered by him and today our pictures reached the highest.

It’s easier said on paper than done for all the young and upcoming models.

  Modelling always seems so glamorous and easy but it is extremely hard

work, late and many hours of preparation for a photo shoot.  For me it

was impossible with my height but Robin v Rensburg saw the potential in

me and gave me the opportunity and what a great gift of God, but it was

 still up to me if this is going to work or not.

At the age of 25 I started with my modelling career and my first

photo shoot  that was done at the Riveira International hotel.

  It was a great experience but also a wakeup call for me to

 see that I actually a minor  in this industry and need a lot of

 training and dedicated hard work.Robin was really patient  with

 me and even at the first shoot, I learned  a lot from him.All my

pictures were shot by Robin and he also trained me  to a

professional photographic model.  Remember your Photographer

 can  only do that much and he can’t continuously do the work

of a model. It is the responsibility of the model to be in perfect

condition all the time, it is a Life style, and we need to life

up to it.  I started to constantly make sure my Nails, Hair,

skin  and Body are in perfect condition. 

You never know when you need to do a  shoot on short

notice.I’ve seen Robin training other models and evaluated 

 them on 49 different poses and  I thought let’s give it a go,

and I took each  and every bit of precious  knowledge that

I could get from him to improve  my modelling. 

I’ve spended hours and hours practising different poses

and face expressions till perfection. It also came with a lot

of tears but today I’m really great full and I saw the fruits

of Robin’s hard and strict  teaching.

I’ve done lots and lots of photo shoots in the studio and

 on location; it was

always lots of fun but also lots of them in really harsh situations.

  We’ve done  Artistic shoots in an open field with cold clay on

 us in the middle of the winter, wind blowing my eyelash ashes

of all the time when Robin is just to take the  perfect shot. 

 Lots of models are really very lucky to have a crew for Hair,

Make-up and styling.  We preferred to do it ourselves and it

 happened a lot of times that Robin had to move heavy and

dirty stuff from a location to take  the pictures.The ever famous

 “Island Girl” picture was shot on Margate beach with thousands

of people on the beach with a concert.  It was so noisy

and I couldn’t hear anything Robin said because I was in the

sea and he  on land.  That’s when you need to concentrate

and just let all the hours of training and knowledge run through

 your brain.  Luckily me and Robin worked together many, many

 times and the connection between us in a photo

 shoot is amazing and we just know what each other want to

get the perfect  photo.  Don’t get me wrong girls, if you want

the perfect picture you need  that connection. On another shoot,

we had to block a 2way traffic road off to put 240Kg of ice with

 burning flames around it, by the way my designers shoes got

on fire.I also had the privilege to shot the most stunning

artistic shoot with our youngest own Professional Model Chante

 v Rensburg, if you read her experience as a young model you

 will agree with the above.  It was -5 degrees on a really cold

 6:30 am winters morning, we had thin white dresses on

with no shoes, standing on a little boat on the water while our

feet and Robins camera were actually freezing.  IF you see the

 beautiful breathtaking  photo, it was all worth it.You can ask

 Model Chante and I agree, Modelling  is lots of fun but 

extremely hard work that doesn’t come easy and photo  shoots

 is not always at the best places or most comfortable situations. 

 What is the saying “Practice makes perfect” I want to encourage

 each and

 every upcoming model, Go for it, but give 100%, life your

 dream.  It just needs that one perfect Picture.

To Mr Robin, Lizette and Alencia

As I stay in a rurel area it is not easy to communicate with busnesses

in Large city's, so I was very happy and felt privilege as Mr Robin

answered my letter I've send to him. I've expained that I stay very far

 where I work as a gardener and it is a dream to have nice foto's of

 myself, but the problem is to come up with the funds, so Mr Robin

send me a letter and he invited me for a free photo shoot in their

tudio in Sandton, I was very happy and could not sleep.

Mr Robin, Lizette his beautifull wife and Alencia treated me with

 respect  and took lots and lots of pictures they gave me the same

 day, They also gave me the oppotunity to an exstra on TV,  can
